About the Role

To competently follow predefined processes to deliver products.

All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.

This job description may not detail some less major duties allocated to the post holder, nor cover duties of a similar nature, commensurate with the role, which may from time to time be reasonably required by the relevant manager.


• To maintain work equipment and a safe and well organised workstation.
• Goods-in parts ordered via the purchase order process.
• Ensuring material and components are distributed, stored, and labelled appropriately.
• Communicating with other teams to confirm when deliveries are needed and/or behind schedule.
• Deliveries and collections using the company vehicle.
• Inputting data from completed works orders.
• Scanning and filing documentation, including works orders, delivery notes, certificates of calibration, etc.
• Signing out completed products and preparing deliveries.
• Maintaining a record of all company assets.
• Delivers on production requirements by following instructions/processes.
• Supports production and inspection activities following instructions and processes to ensure products are delivered effectively, efficiently, on-time, to specification and in a cost-effective manner.
• Maintains manufacturing documentation to achieve full standards of traceability.
• Responsible for general housekeeping within their area.
• Fully contributes to the process of continuous improvements and company goal of achieving zero defects in accordance with ISO9001 certified quality management systems requirements.
• Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Be able to work to strict deadlines.
• Knowledge and experience of using manual inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of CMM an advantage.
• Good GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths.
• ERP system experience an advantage.
• General understanding of industry standards and regulations in order to ensure guidelines are followed and machinery and equipment are operated safety.
• Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job expertise.
• Good PC skills.
• Good time management.
• Good attention to detail to allow you to maintain or exceed high levels of production standards and efficiency.
• Ability to fully contribute to the process of continuous improvements.
• Good understanding of working in similar high technology environment.
