Responsible for a variety of duties related to attracting new customers and retaining existing business. Requires excellent communication skills to work with a range of stakeholders
Accountabilities
• Take a proactive approach to sales, anticipating potential opportunities and developing new ones, as well as developing strategic and innovative plans for growth in the different existing and emerging markets.
• Effectively following up on prospect data, inbound leads and marketing campaigns to build up and nurture a long-term pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Attending networking opportunities including conferences and industry events.
• Prepares action plans for effective identification of sales leads and prospects Using specialised tools, social media and news channels to identify business issues which help position Peregrine MLS services to give us a competitive advantage.
• Researching businesses, individuals and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing clients better.
• Preparing client presentations and materials, including PowerPoint and sales displays.
• Pipeline and Key Account management.
• Negotiating business terms with new and existing clients using phone, email and in-person meetings.
• Partnerships identification and development.
• Weekly and monthly reporting on performance and activity.
• Effective utilisation of data and CRM/database to update/record accurate details about clients and prospects.
• Ensuring all key details - decision makers, incumbent suppliers and contractual periods - are updated on all leads where possible.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure success in delivering a quality service to our clients.
• To provide accurate management information and analysis.
• Conduct consistent proactive sales activities to an agreed schedule.
• Working with senior team members to manage risks.
• Working with our Technical Estimator for creation of all quotes.
• Collaborate with our team to achieve sustainable growth.

• Good understanding and experience of business development activities.
• Strong motivated mindset with a proven track record.
• A strong analytic skill set with the ability to interpret data.
• Be able to work to strict deadlines.
• Sales statistics, calculating metrics such as return on investment (ROI), pipeline value and qualified leads per month.
• Excellent writing ability.
• An active interest in business and the marketing communications arenas.
• Proficient in data management and analytics.
• Content creation experience and social media management an added bonus.
